We have some exciting news to share!
When we started Fawn River HVAC, our goal was simple: provide honest, dependable service and treat every customer like family. Thanks to the support of our customers, employees, friends, and community, we are thrilled to announce that Fawn River HVAC is expanding.
As part of this growth, we will be transitioning our operations to the former John B. Simpson Heating & Cooling building at:
📍 1007 N. Centerville Rd. Sturgis, MI 49091
We are also excited to welcome the John B. Simpson team to Fawn River HVAC. Their employees will be staying on, which means customers will continue to see the same familiar faces they have trusted for years.
This is a big milestone for our family and our business, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. We look forward to continuing to serve our community from our new location and building on the relationships that mean so much to us.

One year ago today, we purchased the business and began a new chapter as Fawn River HVAC—formerly Dick Lunger Heating & Cooling / Fawn River Mechanical.

With temperatures below zero, here are a few ways to protect your furnace & home:
✔️ Set thermostat to a steady temp (don’t crank it way up)
✔️ Change dirty furnace filters
✔️ Keep supply & return vents clear
✔️ Open cabinet doors under sinks & let faucets drip
✔️ Check exhaust/intake pipes for ice or snow

🚨 If your furnace won’t start, is short-cycling, or blowing cold air—call us before it becomes an emergency. Our team is here to keep you comfortable, No matter the season!

Today we celebrated an incredible milestone.

Dan began his HVAC career 46 years ago with the original company, Dick Lunger Heating & Cooling. It then transitioned into Fawn River Mechanical when Butch Easterday purchased it in 2015. We purchased the business and transitioned to Fawn River HVAC, Dan continued on with us—bringing decades of experience, loyalty, and pride in his work.

For 46 years, Dan has served our community with skill and dedication, and we are truly grateful for the role he’s played in the history of this business.

Please join us in congratulating Dan on a well-earned retirement and wishing him the very best in this next chapter. Thank you, Dan Lunger—you’ve left a lasting legacy.
