Another one in the books! 🎨🏠

This project turned out to be a little bigger than we expected—but the finished product made every bit of the extra work worth it.

We gave this home a complete interior refresh using Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace, painting the walls, ceilings, trim, staircase areas and all of the detailed finish work throughout the home.

The wainscoting, pillars, trim and other woodwork were finished in a semi-gloss Chantilly Lace, giving all those architectural details a clean, crisp look that really stands out against the dark flooring and staircase.

With the tall ceilings, open spaces, detailed trim work and plenty of hard-to-reach areas, this one definitely took some extra time and attention—but the transformation speaks for itself.

⚠️ CHEAP SHORTCUTS CAN TURN INTO EXPENSIVE PROBLEMS.

This video is a perfect example of what can happen when the proper products and steps aren’t used.

In this case, new drywall was painted without using the proper drywall/bonding primer first. Instead, a paint-and-primer product was applied directly over the new drywall.

Just because the can says “Paint + Primer” doesn’t mean it’s the right product for every surface.

Fresh drywall and joint compound are porous and need to be properly prepared and primed before applying your finish paint. Skipping steps or using the wrong product can lead to poor adhesion, peeling, flashing, uneven sheen, and ultimately a job that has to be done all over again.

🏠 A little advice for every homeowner: Before starting a project, do your homework and make sure you understand the proper process. Saving a little time or money by skipping a step today can end up costing you a whole lot more tomorrow. Also remember that the cheapest bid is not always the best thing.
