This electrical project posed unique challenges. The interior designer provided detailed blueprints for each artwork location, requiring precise light fixture placement. To accommodate this, cutting into the sheetrock was necessary, a step anticipated by both the homeowner and designer.
While smart switches were considered, a combination switch/receptacle offered the most practical solution. The high ceilings and foam insulation necessitated the use of a 6-inch hole saw. This larger opening facilitated wire fishing, navigating cross bracing, and simplified drywall repair.
