This week I've been working on a sofa table for a friend to give as a Christmas gift. The hardest part of the build was setting up the jigs that allowed for reliable, repeatable cuts. I love the simplicity of mortise and tenon joinery!

I still need to stain and inset an outlet in the top so more pictures to come.

My latest project is for my office. I would like a sit stand desk to help with shoulder and neck problems and my husband has been asking for one since he started working from home. Today I'm clear coating the desk tops for his and hers desks. I have electric height adjusting bases just waiting for the tops to be finished. I'm using general finishes gel stain in ash gray and high performance clear coat in satin.

Just finished remodeling a sewing cabinet. Gutted and reclaimed the lower space for drawers then refinished the whole cabinet. The new owner is very happy.
