I haven’t wanted to post this model because it was so far East of the official track but The ICON has had this storm more to the middle and upper Texas coast on Monday Morning. As I’m watching the Models this morning. Beryl is about to make landfall in the Yucatán Peninsula and is riding on the Northern side of the official track. If this continues Beryl won’t have as much land interaction as predicted. The more north Beryl travels up the Texas coast will give it more Hot Gulf water to strengthen. At this point Houston needs to prepare for outer rain bands and Gusty winds coming in on Monday and a possible Cat 3 Hurricane making Landfall to our west. Because Beryl will come in more from the south, Houston is in store for wind and rain, how much is is yet to be determined but a direct hit with a Possible Major Hurricane isn’t out the realm of possibility. Western Louisiana needs to continue monitoring this storm as well.

More possibly Hail on the way tomorrow.

Two rounds of storms are expected to pass through the area tomorrow, bringing a hail threat. The atmosphere will be unstable, leading to possible large hail, 60mph winds, and isolated tornadoes. Storms will occur in the morning till noon and then there is another small chance of storms around midnight. Strongest storms in the AM look to stay south of I-10.
