We are getting frozen pipes from people who have never had issues before in areas you would never think to have a freezing problem. Please keep your faucets dripping, keep your heat turned up, blinds or curtains closed, and you may want to turn your fan setting to on to help dissipate those cold areas in your home.

It’s time to get your faucets dripping! Open those cabinet doors, check your furnace intake and exhaust for ice and snow if it accumulates, make sure ALL duct vents are open and all return grills are clean! And for the Good Lords sake CHANGE THOSE AIR FILTERS!!

Thanksgiving is upon us and we wanted to share some tips to help your holiday run smoothly!

1. Don’t treat your Sink Disposal like a trash can!
Yes it can be helpful for small scraps, but don’t put large quantities of food down it. ESPECIALLY any type of starchy foods (Noodles and Potatoes are the main culprit) or bones.

2. Do not dump Fats, Oils, or Grease down your drains!
They may make it through your sink but will settle out in your drain lines forming a blockage.

3. It has gotten chillier lately so make sure your furnace filters are clean!

4. Don’t overload your electrical circuits with heating pads or crock-pots!

5. NO WIPES DOWN THE TOILET!
They can claim to be flushable all they want, they are not..

6. Defrost that turkey before you deep fry it, and keep it away from the house!

7. Make sure all your smoke and CO detectors are working, and you have at a minimum one fire extinguisher in the house!

8. Be sure to know where your water, gas, and electrical shut-offs or disconnects are in case of emergencies!

9. Don’t forget to turn OFF the oven or range (or other cooking appliances) once you are done cooking!

10. And finally if you drink don’t drive, do the watermelon crawl!

Another beautiful full marble walk in shower completed! With backer for future grab bars. Pulled out a standard 5’ by 30” tub and installed a 5’ by 32” solid marble base and walls. All new Delta shower valve, diverter, ada handled with matching grab bars. Drain converted from 1-1/2” (tub size drain) to 2” to meet code for shower drains.
