With the unusually warm February weather coming we ripped up some frost to allow for a concrete crew to get moving forward on a large footing and wall project. The sub zero weather we had definitely let the frost set in!

Digging the unload pit at Key Cooperatives Newton location today.

We are proud to be a part of this project for Key Cooperative. We’ve moved roughly 16,000 CY of dirt to get the pad to grade for concrete crews. Put in 1,500 plus ft of 12” storm sewer and are in the process of digging the unload pit hole. A big thank you to Key Cooperative for trusting us with all of their excavation needs on this project!

Ever wonder what tree roots do to a field tile? Here’s one we fixed today. That’s a 6” tile plugged tight with roots from a tree growing in the fence line.

We had the opportunity to team up with Key Coop to get a grain storage pad built at there New Sharon location. The material used is recycled asphalt millings brought off the interstate project. They work nights, so we work with their hours to efficiently get this project completed.
