📍 Monday: Kicked off the week in Ocala with a 15’ liner change!

📍 Tuesday: Headed to Newberry for a beautiful 27’ Nakoma installation!

📍 Wednesday & Thursday: Back in Newberry for another 24’ Nakoma! This one decided to put up a fight. We spent TWO days battling boulders underground. 🫣😂 You never know what you’re going to find when you start digging!

📍 Friday: Staying local in Belleview for a pool teardown and some service work!

📍 Saturday: Road trip to Apalachicola for more service work!

📍 Sunday: No rest for the wicked! 😂 We’re heading to Chipley to install a 24’ pool!

😴 Monday: A much-needed day off!

📍 Tuesday: Right back at it! This time we’re headed all the way down to Port Charlotte for a 12x24 installation!

🌧️ That recent stretch of rain really did a number on our schedule! With the hurricane hitting the Destin area and bringing rain across Florida for over a week, we’ve fallen pretty far behind. We’re working hard to catch up, and we appreciate everyone’s patience!

❄️ As for scheduling…

Some of our summer jobs are now spilling into November, and we’re expecting to kick off our winter installations by mid-November!

We’re also officially booking for MARCH 2027! 🤯

Well, our entire week is ruined. 😅

Not only did we have two jobs scheduled in the Panhandle this week, but it looks like most of the rest of the state is getting rained out too. 🙃

We apologize for any delays this week. We’ll keep everyone updated based on your local forecast and give you the best ETA we can. Unfortunately, Mother Nature gets the final say in our line of work.

But our inconvenience is nothing compared to what the people in this storm’s path could be facing.

Let’s keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Katrina made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane in a very similar area, and ironically, I was just in New Orleans less than a month ago. I had the opportunity to sit down with the owner of Parkway Bakery & Tavern, and Hurricane Katrina came up in our conversation.

He showed me pictures of his restaurant underwater and told me that, more than 20 years later, flooding is still something they deal with. He explained that locals still avoid the area during heavy rain because they’re afraid their cars will flood, and that the city is still working to manage the problem.

That conversation hits a little differently today looking at this forecast.

A week of lost work is frustrating. A delayed pool installation is frustrating. But those things can be rescheduled and replaced. Homes, businesses, communities, and lives aren’t so easily replaced.

Let’s hope and pray this storm weakens, turns, or causes far less damage than Katrina. 🙏

We’re heading back to Jacksonville in the morning to do a backfill, followed by a liner change in Ocala.

If you think these pools are too shallow, think again!

We’re working on a 27’ Nakoma with a 6 foot deep end in Jacksonville today.

The weather is cooling off, and we’re picking up pace again. We’ve still got a lot of jobs to get through before winter gets here. We’ll see you soon!

Prices are going up, and unfortunately, pools aren’t immune.

Effective October 1st, our material costs are increasing again. Because of that, we’re ending our current promotions and adjusting our installation and service call pricing as well. Diesel and material costs are squeezing our industry across the board.

If you’ve been thinking about a pool, now is the time to get on our schedule.

Any pricing or promotional offers we’ve already made will be honored through September 30th. Get your deposit in and lock in your current pricing before the increase.

We’re knocking them out as fast as Mother Nature will let us, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience with the weather delays.

Friday we finished this 27’ Nakoma in Ocala. Sunday we finished a 27’ Gemini in Ft. McCoy. Tuesday we finished a 33’ Calypso in Callahan.

We started a 16x28 Doughboy in Palatka today, but ran into a few issues, so tomorrow we’re back in Ocala starting another 18x33.

Unfortunately, tomorrow’s pool is another job that was abandoned by the original installer. In just the last few weeks, we’ve signed 5 jobs that were either abandoned or messed up by the installer originally hired. All of them right here in Central Florida.

We’re not the only good pool installer in Florida. But unfortunately, there are more bad ones than good ones. Every year dozens pop up, and you may or may not ever see them again.

Guys, PLEASE check reviews before handing someone your money. Look at their finished work and see what actual customers have to say.

And NEVER pay in full before the job is done. No matter what excuse they give you. For a standard installation, we charge a $250 deposit to hold your spot on our calendar. That’s it. There is zero reason for us to have the rest of your money before we’ve done the work.

Five rescue jobs in just a few weeks is five too many. Do your homework and protect your money. ❤️

15x30 Nakoma going in today in Keystone Heights!

Keystone will always be special to us. One of our first BIG jobs as a company was right here. A fully inground pool with a retaining wall. We don’t even offer builds like that anymore, but the pictures from that job helped put us on the map and played a huge part in getting us where we are today.

We do apologize for the delays lately. Between the heat, weather, and an incredibly busy schedule, builds are taking us longer than normal. We expect to be back to our normal production speed within the next few weeks. Thank you for being patient with us! ❤️

Most of all, thank you for choosing us. We know there are cheaper options. We know there are faster options. But in a sea of choices, you chose UC Pools, and we don’t take that lightly.

Every year since we opened has been our best year yet, and 2026 is no different. Our crews install year round, and our winter schedule is already about 75% booked! If you want to take advantage of our winter specials, now is the time.
