My name is Missy Morse-Luke.
I have had the distinct pleasure of working with your amazing staff at Doc’s Restoration! I recently inherited my parents’ home. My husband and I wanted to renovate their master bathroom and kitchen for them to enjoy in their later years. The renovations have recently been completed. I am beyond excited and pleased with the outcome. Aside from the beautiful renovations, more importantly I must pay a high tribute to all the people that were involved in it. They exceeded my expectations time and time again during the entire process!
I had a team of not only professionals, but a group of people that cared about our home, cared about my feelings and cared about my goal for my parents to be comfortable. Starting with Kendall who picked up on my style instantly! He was instrumental in our design and has an amazing talent both with customer service and style. I knew I was in good hands the minute we met at our house!
Then I was assigned not one but several project managers. Al, Amanda, and Stacy. I met Stacy and Al, when they came to the house to go over the layout, schedule, etc. and at the time they met my mom. She was hesitant to let go of her beautiful seashell shaped pink sink in her bathroom. (This note will tie in later in my email). Amanda, I felt I have known for years. I was in Vermont during the renovations and it was difficult for me not to have “eyes” on the progress. She talked me off a ledge several times with her confidence and sincerity. Again, another person with amazing talents!
Stacy, well Stacy was my lifeline! Becoming fast friends, she just about finished my sentences! Instrumental in every last detail. I consider myself a bit particular, others would say, over the top with details, well I’m nothing compared to her! She picked up things I would have never noticed. Too much of a gap in the shower door, ordered a new one. Kitchen cabinet off a bit, readjusted. Shower floor was not up to her standards, even when I couldn’t see what she was talking about. The backsplash, mother of god, this was tormenting me, again her reassurance was all I needed.
I came down in June and said leave everything as is, we don’t mind being in a construction site, I do not want to disrupt anyone. Oh no, sure enough, she made sure it was all cleaned up, like no one had been there! These are just to name a few. Called me and texted me daily with updates, photos and just to let me know all was going really well! Always responded to me, 7 days a week, even when I told her not to! The ultimate personal touch that is clearly outside of the box, was when Stacy kept pieces of the beloved seashell shaped sink and made them into shelves and hung in my parents’ room! When I walked in the room it brought tears to my eyes for just the sheer thoughtfulness!!
Matt and “Alabama”. What can I say here…both were incredible with their eye for detail and their workmanship. Not to mention how quick and efficient they worked, all along talking with me because I wouldn’t leave them alone to get their job done! Ron, quality control! Who has that on a renovation project?! He was very reassuring. Jason spent hours at our house and in your warehouse laying out 2 designs for the shower. Not an easy task considering the limited space to work with. Cardboard cutouts so we could see what it would look like. Great idea!
I have built homes and renovated homes in the past, however by far my family from Docs (as I refer to those working on my renovations from Docs), are the best I have ever had! I just loved the fact that no matter who came into the house or who I was interacting with at the time, I felt heard and confident in their guidance and suggestions. My final product screams perfection, quality workmanship, and an experienced and skilled staff! All with a heartfelt personal touch from everyone! All were an absolute joy to work with, and I feel I became fast friends! If I left any one out it’s not intentional. Everyone deserves my sincere gratitude.
Doc’s will be highly recommended thanks to your outstanding staff!
