The temps are rising all across the South and the rain has been unrelenting in many places! It may be time to harvest any cool weather crops before they go to seed. Also a good time to use an organic fungal prevention like a spray of 10% hydrogen peroxide or one of our favorites- Revitalize by Captain Jack's. Can be used as a foliar spray or drench for the roots. 👩‍🌾

Herb garden? Yes, please! Pesto, spaghetti sauce, tabouli? Yes, please! Those little herb packs in the grocery store are so expensive and rarely any good. Our patio garden is a great way to have your own herbs. No space for a garden? No problem! This little garden can go right on your deck or patio. 👩‍🌾

Unless you live in Florida the season has just begun!! For those of you in Florida... time for heat-tolerant veggies. 🥵 What are you planting now? If you got a late start, check your local farmer's markets or nurseries for more reasonably priced starter plants.

Also, watch out for clusters of eggs like this one. These are already hatched stink bugs. A nuisance in the east but spreading through the west coast as well. For adults, knocking into a cup of soapy water is best, as their hard exoskeleton protects them from most sprays. Check the underside of leaves and spray with DIY insecticidal soap (1tbsp castile soap/1qt of water) especially if you see eggs or nymphs. 👩‍🌾
