We just completed a full insulation package on this wood cabin in Greensburg, KY — and this one turned out great!

• 3.5” of open-cell spray foam in the walls.
• 6” of open-cell spray foam on the roof deck.
• 2” of closed-cell spray foam crawl space encapsulation for maximum moisture control.

On a project like this, prep is everything. Every ceiling board, floor surface, and structural beam was exposed — which meant zero room for mistakes.

We took the extra time to carefully mask, protect, and prep every inch to ensure.

Just wrapped up another comfortable, energy-efficient home.

This home is now fully insulated with 8” of open-cell spray foam on all roof decks and 3.5” of open cell spray foam on exterior walls, creating a conditioned attic and a much more comfortable living environment year-round.

We also added sound insulation in key interior walls and encapsulated both garages to help stop outside air, humidity, and vehicle fumes from making their way into the home.

Homes built this way stay more comfortable, quieter, and easier to heat and cool — especially through Kentucky summers and winters.

Another new construction wrapped up in Greensburg ✔️

This home received a full open-cell spray foam encapsulation in the living quarters, transitioning into a closed-cell encapsulated crawl space once the remaining trades are complete in that area.

To properly separate the conditioned attic from the vented garage, we constructed a full mesh transition wall from the roof deck down to the top plate. From there, the building envelope will continue down the finished interior garage wall — creating a continuous air barrier while allowing the garage attic to ventilate as designed.

The garage includes R-19 fiberglass batt insulation in all exterior wall cavities and will receive 13 inches of blown-in fiberglass insulation above the ceiling after drywall is complete.

Details matter.
Transitions matter.
The separation between conditioned and unconditioned space matters.

We go the extra mile on every spray foam insulation project, paying close attention to details you may not notice right away — such as proper caulking and air sealing as displayed in the picture. Every window/door header, top/ bottom plates, vertical framework not accessible by foam, and all 90s and Ts. These steps make a significant difference in performance, durability, and long-term energy efficiency. Surprisingly, most insulation contractors/ builders skip this step!
