After tree removal, these homeowners encountered issues with water runoff from their back hillside onto their back porch. We excavated 25 feet into the hillside, sloping the grade to facilitate a future retaining wall. We also excavated the side yard to extend the grade for proper drainage. The excavated dirt was then repurposed in the front yard to create more flat, usable space.

Installation of a 1,200-foot chert driveway with a culvert and rip rap at the entrance in Summertown. Also a 300' by 300' clearing was graded out to achieve a flat, maintainable area at the end of the driveway for the future house site.

From a hillside to a homesite, we excavated the site to accommodate a 130’ x 60’ house pad and utilized the excavated materials to create maintainable side yards. During excavation, we encountered rock and repurposed the material for the hillside of the driveway.
