Meet Chappie Capers, one of our talented loader operators for Knight’s Companies in the Midlands market!
Originally from Holly Hill, Chappie settled in Columbia with his wife after he exited the military. During his military service, he was stationed in Savannah, Georgia.
Chappie enjoys operating equipment, and when he saw an opening for a loader operator, he jumped on the opportunity.
“Knight’s is a good place to work. I enjoy what I do and the people that I work with,” he said.
One of his favorite pieces of equipment to operate is a front-end loader and he’s happy to work one very often in his role.
As far as keys to success go, Chappie said that punctuality and an eye for safety will take you far in this industry.
“If you’re on time, stay safe and you do your job to the best of your abilities, you’ll succeed,” he added.
When he isn’t operating heavy equipment, Chappie can be found traveling, with his favorite place to visit being Las Vegas.
