Some high winds broke a huge section out of the top of this live oak. After it came off there were a few noticeable issues with what was still standing. The homeowner decided that it would be better to remove the whole tree before it came crashing through the house. The pictures don't do this tree any justice. It was around 42" DBH. The limbs were the size of average trees. We got it completely removed and the stump grinded out and leveled off. The customer was ecstatic with the outcome. Once she saw how much light that it brough in, she said she's now planning on having a greenhouse installed in the open area. Another happy customer and another job well done for the B&B crew!

The high winds from the evening storms have been tearing up some trees. Here's a few jobs that we've done. All of them were tops that broke off of trees. Everyone of the property owners said the same thing... the tree looked healthy so I can't believe that it happened. But every one of them had some issues that were noticeable to the trained eye.

Removal and stump grinding of a large sweet gum tree. It has dropped a few limbs through the roof over the years and the customer was having a new fence put in, so he decided that it was finally time for it to go. Now he has room for a large access gate to his backyard and doesn't have to worry about a limb dropping through the roof again.

This customer had a huge oak overhanging his house and his neighbors. He said that both of them have wanted it down for years now, so he was extremely pleased to finally see it gone. He came outside with a big smile on his face and said, "I'd say that you guys did a great job, but that would be an understatement... you guys did a phenomenal job and I will be recommending you to everyone I know" Another job well done and another very happy customer!

Publix in Goose Creek is getting remodeled, so they decided to remove these 2 unsightly poplars. They were pretty bad off with rot and cavities from having limbs break off over the years. Of course we made quick work of them and gained another happy customer.

With all of the high winds recently, this customer had a couple of large branches fall out of a maple tree and cause damage to a few things under it. When I took a look the tree I noticed quite a few stress fractures and cavities in the trunk that were causing rot. So after talking with them, they decided that it was finally time to go. Their only request was that we cut the trunk off above their clothes line so that they could still use it. It was a very small spot to work in, but the crew did an outstanding job and we gained another very happy customer.

While we were working for these customers a few years ago, I noticed the separation line down this pine tree. We always see trees like this split with bad storms. Its because even though it looks like a huge solid base, its actually 2 separate trees pushing against each other. When they grow like this they don't have any back roots so they usually separate and fall. I had a talk with the customers about it, but at the time they didn't want to remove it, so I suggested that we do a weight reduction, to reduce the wind load. They agreed that it would be a wise decision so we trimmed them up to 2 tops. Well a few weeks ago, they called and said that since they're getting a new pool installed, they wanted to go ahead and have it removed so it couldn't cause any future problems. When I cut the stump the 2 pieces were separated down to the roots and the homeowners could see exactly what I was talking about.

This customer just bought the house to fix up and rent out. The roof had a couple of dead branches fall though it, so they wanted all the trees around the house trimmed up. We removed a 6 small trees, grinded the stumps, and raised the canopy on all the trees overhanging the house and roads. She was very happy with the outcome and couldn't believe how much it opened up the yard.
