Etch glass is when using a sandblaster on the surface of the glass to create the image. Carved glass, using high pressure air & sand to penetrate the glass will leave a 3 dimensional image. The glass that is used is 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4" thick for carving. Surface etch can be created on all thickness of glass including 1/8".

A statue of the Wood Nymph that is on the property of Middleton Place Plantation SC. They will go on sell the end of next week in the gift store at Middleton Place.
