A century-old Victorian. A twenty-first-century life.

From the archive: Veranda’s 30th Anniversary Issue featured a circa-1901 New Jersey home, reimagined by interior designer Miles Redd with our architecture.

The kitchen had been a warren of small rooms. Now it is one open square, and everyone gathers there.
A second front door became a window. The quirks stayed, including the off-center entry.
Miles brought the color. We made room for it.

Meet the Team - Francesco Campo / Architectural Drafter

Francesco, a New York City native, discovered his passion for architecture early on when his parents brought in an architect for the design of a brand-new home. Sitting in on one of the early design meetings, he was captivated by the way the architect spoke about turning ideas into tangible spaces, planting the seed for a lifelong passion. Since moving to the shore areas of New Jersey in 2016, Francesco finds the contrast between the dense, urban architecture of the city and the more open, coastal styles of the Jersey Shore both compelling and inspiring. That passion fuels his work every day at Rosen Kelly Conway, where he feels a strong sense of purpose and pride being part of a team that values creativity, detail, and innovation. When he’s not immersed in design, you’ll likely find him on a soccer field, embracing the sport that has always been an essential part of his life.

Education: Bachelor of Architecture, New York Institute of Technology

FRESH OFF THE PRESS
Quiet moves. Built to belong.

NJ Monthly featuring our work on the North Side Georgian Revival — a new house that reads like it’s always been on the street.

Brick and slate on the outside. Inside, a hand-carved limestone surround in the family room, Calacatta Viola in the living room, a custom metal hood over Shaker cabinetry, mesh-front millwork in the bar, and a custom wallpaper in the powder room made just for this house.
Traditional bones. Modern moves.
