Is there anyone interested in learning about seed saving or canning tomatoes anytime over the next month or so? This is the year of bountiful giant tomatoes.... and sunflowers! You are welcome to message me for 1 on 1 or small group workshops. Free, of course. If you want to bring your own jars/rings/lids, I will share my harvest or just come to learn.

Sew Much Fun Workshops will be back to Wednesdays from 5-8pm July 15th, 22nd, and 29th. This Wednesday we will be eco printing with flowers and plants on fabric dyed with chanterelle mushroom. I am excited for this workshop. You are welcome to bring your own cotton fabric.
Medicinal Plants Roundtable will start back up in August. If you have something you want to learn/do send me a message to schedule a day. The woods and property are full and I am happy to forage/discuss plants every single day. So don't hesitate.
I am busy everyday living my best life with nature and I sure hope you all are as well!!

Karen Taylor finished another quilt! These are cathedral quilt squares. You can frame inspirational fabric with this pattern. Karen used it to frame special fabric picked out many many years ago while awaiting her first baby. The blue jean fabrics have special meanings as well. Most quilts have a story and this quilt's story is super sweet. I can't wait to see the next project Karen starts. She does beautiful work!

The finished product is the only picture I took. Tonya, Stephanie, and I walked parts of the property, discussed different medicinal plants, and processed lemon balm for future use.
I am always excited to have these ladies over. Fellow plant junkies and hard workers with a vision. Thank you, ladies!!

Shirley Starr hemmed a pair of jeans. She did such great work!! She will be back to finishing a purse and starting on a Bible book bag next week. Shirley has a long list of projects she is ready to take on.
Karen Taylor finished cutting all of the squares for our upcoming Quilting Bee!! Lots of sewing to be done to get the quilt top ready for quilting. Medicinal Plants Roundtable this Thursday 7p we will discuss, harvest, clean, and prep for preserving oregano and possibly lemon balm if time allows. If you plan to attend any Medicinal Plants Roundtables, please message me to save your spot. I like to make sure I have enough supplies.
