We recently completed the demolition of a newly installed shower that had already begun to fail.

During demolition, we identified two primary deficiencies:

Inadequate thinset coverage, resulting in poor tile adhesion

Incomplete waterproofing, which allowed moisture to reach the wall assembly

A properly built shower should provide years of reliable service. We removed the failed installation and replaced it with a fully waterproofed system, complete thinset coverage, and the correct slope to ensure long-term performance.
