Hurricane season 🌪is June 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026, and we certainly hope we won’t get one, but being prepared is best!
Horry County Hurricane Guides are available in the Town Hall lobby. The guide contains Hurricane Preparation Tips, Evacuation Routes & Tips, Shelter Information, Know Your Zone Map, and important phone numbers to have in case of an emergency. For more information, click the link below.

The town will host a hurricane seminar at First Baptist Church of Surfside Beach on July, 9, 2026. Presenters include: Ed Piotrowski WPDE, Horry County Emergency Management, American Red Cross of South Carolina, and the Surfside Beach Fire Department.
