is a full service excavation company. We do slide removal, fix drainage issues, excavate driveways, house pads and all underground utilities. We also haul rock and do land clearing. If you need dirt moved, we can do it. ZT Rahcs also specializes in trail lay out and construction for hikers, horseback riders and our personal favorite off-highway vehicles.

Got a couple of seed orchards mowed outside of Estacada this week. Both orchards were surrounded by a catastrophic fire from 2020. But, because the Forest Service has been prioritizing maintenance in these orchards, there were only a couple of orchard trees that succumbed to the flames. The amount of historic science and critical seed growing infrastructure located in these orchards is fascinating to this self-identifying tree nerd.

Doing a little watering pad facelift. This trough system had failed and was leaking, making a muddy mess for the cattle and sheep to water. Scraped the muck, leveled the pad and removed broken lines. Next week is re-install of pipe and troughs.
