Desjoyaux History

Blackstock Pools uses a pool design that has been proven for the past 50 years.

Desjoyaux is a company based in France that started building Pools in 1966. They are currently a 3rd generation family company and now build in a market of 85 countries with 620 vendors and counting! Although they have only been in the states for the past decade, this unique structure is quickly gaining traction here in the states. With our recycled Polypropylene forms, we have built 220,000 Pools worldwide! Our unique forms are plastic, however they are just the vessel that holds our concrete until it cures. Once the walls and bottom cure, we get to work on the membrane that waterproofs the pool. The membrane is not a liner, and is far more durable while also keeping costs significantly lower than Gunite or Pebble Tec coating. We also use a very unique system for filtration. Our Pools do not consist of hundreds of feet of plumbing pipes clogging up the exterior of your home alongside countless pumps and filters as big as a mini fridge. Desjoyaux Pools utilize a fully contained system with no exterior plumbing. Our pump and filter are located in the filtration box you can see on the right side of the pool above. With this simplicity you never have to worry about costly leaks forming from the plumbing underneath your pool, and paired with our user friendly filter maintenance is a breeze!
