The ribbon has officially been cut at the City of Canton Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrade and Expansion! As the largest capital improvement project in the City’s history, this new facility increases the plant’s treatment capacity by 50%, allowing it to handle up to 6.0 MGD while supporting the city’s continued growth and future infrastructure demands.
Completed as a joint venture between Clark Construction Group and Reeves Young, the project included the installation of a new membrane filtration system, upgrades to the solids handling process, additional grit removal equipment within the existing headworks, and construction of a new control building, laboratory, tertiary treatment system, aerobic digesters, and sludge dewatering facility. Proud to celebrate another successful partnership delivering critical infrastructure improvements for the City of Canton and its community.
