This is Heath. I also have decided to add scrap metal hauling. I am one of those people who cannot stand sending recyclable items to the dump. Give me a call if you have things such as:
Number 5 plastic (planter pots)
Aluminum cans
Metal shelving
Copper

I will haul these and other items, and in most cases will charge only what is required for me to get to the recycling center (For instance a very reasonable rate for driving to your location, and then to the center)
