We delivered and spread over 100 tons of processed gravel out in Windsor CT today, providing our clients with an extra wide temp road and circle to begin construction on their dream home.

Even for temporary roads, all loam and organic materials are stripped down to subsoil before replacing with 3" minus base and 1.5" topcoat to withstand the heavy construction traffic.

Just your average 1/2 mile, 16ft tall privacy fence with telephone poles 8ft OC buried 9ft deep. Not overbuilt at all!

This month has been a wild season opener so far!

In the past 30 days, Rockhound and partners have been at your service around the clock:
-Mucking and hauling manure

One of our favorite projects has finally come to a finish!

Breaking ground in August, we carved this hillside backyard to make room for a beautiful 30x36 barn and hay shed from Horizon Structures. We raised the subgrade, installed footers for the structure, poured the concrete aisle and wash bay, and trenched in water, electric and drainage utilities. The surrounding sitework included sand runouts, a laser graded arena with stone dust and sand base, a boulder retaining wall, drainage swales, as well as reprocessed asphalt access roads and turn around circle. The remaining property was finish graded with screened loam, and is ready for grass to germinate in the spring. Hidden Pond Farm delivered the fencing and barn finishes with perfection, as always.
