Structural repair completed by Craftsman Home Service.

This project involved replacing a main support beam and rebuilding 36 feet of exterior basement wall after significant mine subsidence damage. The foundation had shifted, causing the exterior walls to move nearly 4 inches out of plumb and twisting a 5” x 8” steel I-beam that spanned the basement.

STRUCTURAL REPAIR IN PROGRESS – MINE SUBSIDENCE DAMAGE

We’re currently on-site completing a major structural repair for a home impacted by mine subsidence.

This project includes:
• Full main beam replacement
• Installing temporary supports and structural reinforcement
• Resetting an exterior load-bearing wall that is over 3 inches out of plumb
• Restoring the home back to safe, level, and structurally sound condition
