We've just installed the first of a series of beautiful new mosaics for the baptistery at Church of the Incarnation in Rio Rancho, NM.

This first mosaic draws out the relationship between our Baptism in Christ and the heart of the Eucharist as the central message of the Cross and the Christian journey which starts with Baptism and ends in Christ (the Chi-Rho) as the Alpha and Omega.

The intertwining streams of blue recall the river of life with green symbolizing the new life that the waters bring, red as a participation in the death of Christ, and white as the regained purity and innocents of our baptismal cleansing.
