Shahir was recognized by the Gilbane Building Superintendent Team for consistently leading by example on the jobsite. From ensuring proper PPE, equipment protection, and exclusion zones are always in place to coordinating daily activities with his team, surrounding trades, and the public — Shahir makes safety a priority every single day.

Gilbane shared that Shahir is “an outstanding example of the Gilbane BWD Team’s safety culture.”

This milestone marks the beginning of another opportunity to showcase what the does best, delivering quality craftsmanship, unwavering safety, and relentless dedication from the ground up.

As this project takes shape, we're excited to continue pushing boundaries, exceeding expectations, and proving that there are no limits to what we can accomplish. From the first stake in the ground to the final concrete pour, we're ready to build something exceptional.

This week, we focused on the three pillars that build stronger and safer jobsites:

✔️ RECOGNIZE the hazards
✔️ RESPOND before incidents happen
✔️ RESPECT the plan, the work, and each other
Safety isn’t just a meeting, a slogan, or one week out of the year.
It’s the way we operate every single day.
From pre-task planning to the final finish, every decision matters. Every conversation matters. Every worker matters.

Respect on a jobsite goes far beyond manners.
It’s respecting the plan. Respecting the process. Respecting the dangers that come with the work we do every single day.
Real respect means:

✔️ Speaking up when something feels unsafe
✔️ Looking out for your crew
✔️ Following the plan — no shortcuts
✔️ Stopping work when conditions change
✔️ Understanding that every person on site matters
