As Construction Safety Week comes to a close, one thing remains the same for the — safety never stops.
This week, we focused on the three pillars that build stronger and safer jobsites:

✔️ RECOGNIZE the hazards
✔️ RESPOND before incidents happen
✔️ RESPECT the plan, the work, and each other
Safety isn’t just a meeting, a slogan, or one week out of the year.
It’s the way we operate every single day.
From pre-task planning to the final finish, every decision matters. Every conversation matters. Every worker matters.
Thank you to every member of the GMAC team for continuing to look out for one another, speak up, work smart, and take pride in building safely.
Our goal is simple:
Everyone goes home safe. Every day.
Strong crews. Strong culture. Stronger together.

Construction Safety Week continues with Thursday’s focus: RESPECT.

Respect on a jobsite goes far beyond manners.
It’s respecting the plan. Respecting the process. Respecting the dangers that come with the work we do every single day.
Real respect means:

✔️ Speaking up when something feels unsafe
✔️ Looking out for your crew
✔️ Following the plan — no shortcuts
✔️ Stopping work when conditions change
✔️ Understanding that every person on site matters
To the , safety is built through accountability, communication, and trust in one another.
No one is above the plan.
No task is more important than getting home safe.
Strong crews are built on respect — and respect is what keeps jobs moving safely and successfully.

Construction Safety Week continues with Wednesday’s focus: the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls.

Falls remain one of the leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities in construction — and most of them are completely preventable.
The dangerous part?
It’s usually not the “big” moment that causes it.
It’s the shortcut.
The “just for a second.”
The quick reach.
The missed tie-off.

The believes no deadline is more important than making sure everyone goes home safe.
Today is about slowing down, speaking up, checking your surroundings, and making sure the right protection is in place before the work begins.
👉 Stay tied off.
👉 Use the right equipment.
👉 Watch your footing.
👉 Protect your crew.
👉 Never take shortcuts around fall protection.
Strong teams hold each other accountable — because one bad step can change everything.

Construction Safety Week! — and at GMAC, safety isn’t a priority when it’s convenient… it’s the standard. Every job. Every day.

Tuesday is all about RESPONDING — because recognizing a hazard means nothing if you don’t act on it.

When seconds count, action makes all the difference.

Emergencies, near misses, changing conditions — they’re part of the job.
What separates a close call from a catastrophe is how we respond.

the doesn't freeze. We don’t walk by.
We step in, speak up, and take control.

👉 Assess the situation.
👉 Get help if needed.
👉 Report it.
👉 Learn from it.

Construction Safety Week is here — and to the , safety will always be the priority.

Monday is all about RECOGNIZING the hazards before they become incidents.
The truth? The biggest dangers on a jobsite are already there — you just have to see them.
Falls. Struck-by. Electrical. Caught-in/between.
Nothing random about it.
At GMAC, we don’t wait for something to go wrong —
we call it out, lock it down, and keep our people safe.

👉 Before you start your task today, ask yourself:
What’s the “stuff that can kill you” here?
