Bees are out thick this year. This may be a helpful trick if you are wanting to enjoy time outdoors.

Here's a method for controlling yellowjackets that we've never heard: "Here is a trick my husband and I learned during a visit with friends in Stuttgart, Germany, in July. Place copper coins, the shinier the better, all around the table when eating outside. It takes a minute or two, but the yellow jackets stop buzzing around and stay away. We have tried this several times in our back yard in Corvallis and it works!
