This was a fun job I did at the beginning of fall 2024. Douglas fir posts and beams, pine carsiding on the ceiling, and cedar trim. The big beam across the gable is a 6"x12"x24' that weighs over 400 lbs! Thankfully, I didnt have to do too much heavy lifting (although I TOTALLY could've lifted the 400lb beam up into place by myself), because I had great customers that let me use their skidsteer.

After rebuilding part of the deck on the back of the house, we moved on to the front of the house to start on this enclosed deck. The white columns with the cedar handrail accent the composite decking and it brings life into the front of the house. Composite decks are virtually maintenence free and look great! You also never have to worry about splinters while walking barefoot on composite.

Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference. The homeowner had a vision of repurposing a door and we were able to put the vision into action. The jamb was built, set into place, and finished with casing. The door was cut down and then the finishing touches were added. It was simple, but it turned out great!

Here's a before and after with progress pictures. The homeowner wanted to put in a sunroom where the old deck was at. We went a little bigger and added a 16x20 room on. Once it was dried in, we kept 2 of the exterior windows where they are, but removed another to create another doorway into the house. The bar height built in shelf was made with deck boards from the old deck and covered with an oak top. Once I was done with the exterior, the homeowner did the landscaping. It really turned out great!

Here's some side by side before and after pictures of a half bathroom. This one was a full gut and remodel. Adding insulation in the attic and in all the walls definitely helped retain heat. After tearing out the carpet and layers of laminate flooring, these beautiful oak floors were uncovered.

Did you know the average lifespan of a wooden deck is between 10-20 years? Wooden decks require a lot of maintenence (and money) to extend their lifespan.
Forget the constant maintenance with the installation of composite decking. Composite decks are nearly maintenence free and have a lifespan of 30-50 years!
For the best return on your investment, make sure your next deck is a composite deck!

Remodels are always full of surprises. After demo, it was discovered that the beam supporting the weight of this wall was damaged and needed to be removed.
