We replaced the field lines on this older septic system due to some obvious signs of failure. After we made sure the existing concrete tank was suitable for use, we got to work excavating the new field lines. 280’ of arc chambers installed, inspected, and backfilled without any interruption of service for the customer!

Starting the year off strong, two chamber systems installed and ready for inspection!

Schutte Excavation has moved! That’s right, we’ve relocated from Central Maine down to East Tennessee! We have felt a calling to this area since our 2023 winter roadtrip. After much discussion and prayer, we decided now was the time for our next adventure. It has been an undertaking hauling all of our equipment, tools, and attachments down here but it truly has been worth all the effort. We hit the ground running and teamed up with a local contractor to further our knowledge and experience working with this red dirt.

I want to say THANK YOU to all of our Maine clients that we worked with over the past 4 years. From firewood sales, to hazardous tree removal, and excavation projects all over, it has been a great opportunity to grow a small side business into a full time endeavor. I especially appreciate all of the repeat clients that trusted Schutte Excavation with their outdoor projects over the years.

We are excited for what 2026 has in store for us while we get our business back up and running. We also have some new services that we will be announcing soon!
