Greg + Kim Johnson, in Coralville, upgraded their outdoor space with a new paver patio & retaining wall this year as a tribute to Kim's parents. I got to hear their story yesterday when I went to photograph the finished project.
They showed me around — introducing me to the custom bench they placed on their new patio, and the rock speakers around the retaining wall that Greg had gotten as a Father's Day gift from his children. They noted how our crew had instinctively leveled out the entry to the shed for easy lawn mower parking ("Who thinks of that?", Greg said) and how — thanks to the rain and heat! — their seed is growing really well!!
