Dear Sycamore,
Thank you to all that have called in so far! We’re back at it again and working our way through the inspections. Remember, we only go where invited, so call in or flag down one of our trucks to have us stop out.
Advantages of using a local roofer:

- No high pressure sales tactics: we value our relationships within our community and don’t require “waivers” to examine your property

PLEASE DO NOT PANIC, there is no hurry! The disadvantages to hiring a storm chasing company is that they will hire random “sales” people to try to book the contract, people that have little to no actual construction experience. They will then hire small subcontracting groups, many that they don’t even regularly work with and who don’t have a license to do the work, and they reach out as far as they can to find groups to do their contracted work. You have no idea what you are getting!

Looks like we’ve gotten considerable hail in Sycamore tonight. Hopefully Dekalb County has learned it’s lesson from last time we had storm chasers knocking on everyone’s doors, and a bunch of homeowners got ripped off and put together lawsuits.

IF SOMEONE IS KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR TO TRY TO INSPECT YOUR PROPERTY, ITS NOT A GOOD THING.

CALL AN ESTABLISHED LOCAL COMPANY TO COME INSPECT YOUR ROOF SIDING WINDOWS GUTTERS ETC.

Tip Top Roofing and Construction is as familiar with dealing with your insurance company as any storm chaser out there, and if the insurance company is going to cover your repairs, you might as well have quality work done! THERE IS NO HURRY, the hail damage is not going to cause leaks, so don’t be pressured by in home salespeople, that I wouldn’t let into the house anyways with what is going on right now.
