Another bathroom transformation completed out in Cicero.

This project came from a referral from a client down the street whose kitchen Charles and I remodeled last year. Word of mouth like that means a lot to us.

The goal for this bathroom was simple:
✔ Modernize the space
✔ Make it durable for everyday use
✔ Stay within a specific budget for their son’s bathroom

We worked with the homeowner to select materials that gave the bathroom a clean, updated look without blowing the budget.

🔥 Fireplace Transformation Complete 🔥

This project came to us after the framing and Durock were already installed, but the client wanted the tile work done the right way — and that’s where LaFata Works stepped in alongside Charles from CJS Remodeling to bring it all together.

Referred by our friends at Best Tile, we helped turn this fireplace into a clean, modern entertainment wall — installing the tile properly and getting the entire setup finished and ready to enjoy.

💥 Kitchen + first floor remodel completed for our client out in Cicero 💥

We took a dark, choppy space with stained carpet and turned it into one bright, connected first floor:
• New LVP flooring throughout
• All new trim and recessed lighting
• Complete kitchen remodel
• Redesigned fridge wall so the layout actually works and feels uniform
• New arched opening instead of the old square entry for a softer, more elegant feel
• Updated half bath

Now the kitchen, dining and living areas feel like one intentional space instead of three separate rooms.

Huge shoutout to Charles Schott of CJS Remodeling – two Italians, three and a half weeks, whole first floor flipped – and Ricky Estrada of Estrada Styles Inc. for the painting.
