Hey all. The forge has been cold for the winter as I do not have appropriate ventilation methods to work with a forge indoors, but I do still have access to the various power tools I would use. If anyone has some simple work for me, I am still very interested.

My current project. This is a Grossemesser. This translates from german as "Big Knife," often carried by less well to do people in the Middle Ages. These knife swords were common among the middle class on regions where peasantry was not allowed to have swords. Due to its shape, it was legally considered a knife. This one is currently without handle but once a handle is on it, it will be going up for sale.

Hello everyone.

The forge has been down for a few days because the cheap little bellows I got to start put with broke. Oh well, but once I find a replacement bellows or possibly an electric air blower, I will be back up and running. My first project, railroad spike knives. A good beginner's project for a blacksmith. The work will be posted on here and the final product will also be put up for sale on here as well.

I have my first item for sale. This refurbished sickle has been cleaned and recieved a new handle. It is the perfect item for clearing vines and medium to heavy plant growth. It has been tested on my backyard and can clear most weeds and small vine plants with a minimum of effort. If it goes to sale for someone I live near, I am offering free sharpening. Asking 15 dollars but price is negotiable. If you are interested feel free to leave a comment or message me directly. Also, stay tuned for an update on the cleaver.

So after 3-4 hours of working on restoring this "cleaver", I can safely say the pock marking has determined it is going to be a vintage style piece. If anybody has any interest in a large two handed meat cleaver, just shoot me a message.

Hello Any and All. This is my new business page for a forge and metal restoration shop I have up and running.
