Exactly 20 years ago, to the day (yesterday)... I
started my professional training in
construction. It happend to be on one of the
most well known properties on Wawasee.
Today I started ripping apart a ceiling that I had built when I was 18 years old on that same property... in preparation for a much larger project.

I feel blessed and honored to have the opportunity to come back and work on it 20 years later under my own business ownership. I may not be building massive lake
homes, but I definitely feel like my business is thriving.

I'm proud at how far the business
has come in the past 7 ½ years.

I don't know what my personal definition of success is, but it's starting to feel within my reach. Thank you to all of my amazing customers who have given me the opportunities over years!

We've done some material moving!

It's been a while since we've posted any jobs. When you stay slammed, it's hard to find the time to post pictures of projects. This one has been some back-breaking work, and we're proud of all the hard labor and late hours the guys have been putting in during the evenings and weekends to get it done.

So many other projects happening right now. This one is now ready to hand over to the masons before we comeback to give it a total facelift. Stay tuned to see the finished product, along with all the future and previous projects we've completed.

..Well, it isn't the soles, but these boots are wore out, and so am I! Time to enjoy the fruits of the labor!

We finally have a website up and running! However, it is in the beginning stages. There will be a lot of fine tuning from here. It should start appearing in Google (within the next week) when searching for various things such as, "Residential Construction."
At the moment, we do have pictures of 3 different projects on the home page. Take a peek! You know you want to! 😁

Sometimes we encounter floors with major dips and humps along with slopes that are inches out of level from one end to the other.
To correct this, in preparation for flooring, we pour floor leveler over the entire surface. This pour came to 40 bags exact. Our team did a great job yesterday pouring this cap. This is all in preparation for a kitchen tile floor in Vawter Park on Lake Wawasee.

A few pictures of our recently completed remodel at Bay Point Condos Phase 1. The old kitchen was closed in with 4 walls...3 of which were load-bearing and supporting the condo up above. It required quite the elaborate placement of 5 different multi-ply engineered beams to ensure proper support. Just the challenge we love!
It's all ready to go for the customers...just in time for lake season!

Much to say about this project. This is a 100+ year old home in Pickwick Park on Lake Wawasee with very unique characteristics. We were hired to rebuild the rotting decorative handrail on top of the rubber roof. With most of the house's exterior being composed of original wood, maintenance costs have been relentless for the owners year after year. The main objective was to rebuild it with low maintenance materials and to match the original design. Luckily we have the means to tackle such a unique and ambitious project. Original cedar posts and rails were replaced with treated lumber that was wrapped with flashing tape on the butt ends then encased in vinyl sleeves. The yellow webbing is made of PVC exterior boards and held in place with PVC quarter-round.
A huge thank you to Single Barrel Designs for helping out on this one. The CNC milled PVC tulips came out PERFECT. Now all we need is a final coat of paint to the handrail for a job well done!
