Major milestone in Bonney Lake—the foundation has been poured for the Big Sky home plan being built by the Sargents!

With the concrete cured, the next step is to hang the floor joists. But first, we install that green board bolted directly to the concrete. That’s called a "sill plate" (or mudsill), and it’s made of pressure-treated wood to act as a moisture barrier between the concrete and your home's framing. It's the secure anchor for everything we build on top!
