We completed our West End Pollinator Garden Phase 2. This petite backyard space is now fully functional - activated with many flowering species, edibles with a small path to meander and enjoy. We can’t wait to see this grow in and flourish. 🌼🐝
Our gratitude to Kate, and all our reoccurring clients. We appreciate you and your ongoing support.

Eastside Minimalist Project Update - this winter we’ve been designing the garden for this beautiful new home in the PNW. It is a rare opportunity for us to start fresh and the landscape be a completely blank canvas!
We’re layering our usual suspects of native and climate-adapted plantings that support pollinators, birds, and healthy soil. In addition we also will be incorporating some new plant species we’ve yet to install. Intentionality of materials and biodiversity are woven into every square foot. We can’t wait to share more about this with you later this year.

We’ve been watching our clients’ gardens wake up with all this unusually warm weather we’ve been experiencing in the PNW! We’re reminded before the garden fully wakes, the early bloomers speak first. They rise through cold soil and pale light, offering color when the world still feels quiet. These flowers are small but essential—feeding the first bees, stitching life back into the landscape, and setting the tone for everything that follows. What’s your favorite winter flower?

A gentle winter reminder: now is the ideal time for fruit tree pruning. Dormant-season pruning improves structure, airflow, and fruit production—and helps trees thrive when spring arrives. 🌸
