This is our Nehane home whole house remodel and transformation. The homeowners wanted to do a modern update of their existing home that was originally built in 1982.

The owners wanted to maximize transparency and views from the kitchen to the family room. A new steel stair with wood treads and open risers ensured a more substantial visual connection. To further this goal, new slender steel columns and steel beams replaced the existing wood support for the upper-level master bedroom floor.

Showcase Media did a feature article for our Browns Point Residence today.

This Pacific Northwest home was designed for a couple who wanted a Northwest Contemporary home that was modern yet warm and inviting. Natural daylighting and extensive use of western red cedar on the exterior and Douglas fir ceilings on the interiors were used to create warmth in the structure.

Our New Years Goal for this year was to show some of our whole home remodels and transformations.

A beach home modern transformation.

The homeowners wanted to transform this traditional home with it's compartmentalized layout and create a modern home with an open floor plan concept. This video shows how we went from visioning to the final result. By strategically removing walls and introducing a new steel column and wood beam to support the existing floor joists above, helped achieve this open feel of a great room. Now the home extended the kitchens' view into both the family room and the great views to the Puget Sound beyond.

By removing an old stair at the front entry foyer and replacing it with a new stair with steel channels, wood treads with open risers make a great first impression for guests as their eyes extend their views to the beautiful Puget Sound Views beyond.
