Few things we’ve done recently, check out this custom bathroom sink!!

The next picture shows a regulator that we installed, if you have noticed differences in your water pressure whether it be too high, or not enough give us a call and let us check your pressure. High pressure can cause significant damage to your home!

Last, this is a “Frost proof spigot” this is a good reminder that in the colder months to go ahead and unhook the hose from spigot because it will freeze and bust because the water is trapped and has nowhere to go, unhook them and cover them up!

Today this customer had black well pipe for their main supply to the house, well it had done its job and was time to be retired it started to leak and so we decided it was best to install them a new line from the meter to the house! We have been behind on posting to keep yall entertained! We’ve had a lot happen in the last month but just like always, we pushed through and made the best out of what we had and it all came back together! Call me for your plumbing needs I will do what I can to make it happen!!

The cold is coming! Even if it doesn’t freeze and do everything they said here are some pointers that you still need to know so use the time to get familiar with your property.

1. KNOW WHERE TO CUT WATER OFF TO YOUR HOUSE!! There is always a cut off inside the water box at the street, check it today make sure it isn’t covered in dirt and make it visible so many times they are covered to where you can’t see them. Turn it on and off, sometimes they are extremely hard to turn and they don’t like turning off. But if you have a cut off outside of your home use that location instead.

2. Water at a stream!!!
A drip isn’t always enough. You should leave hot AND cold at a small stream at all times. The water bill will increase but you’d rather pay that bill than pay any plumber to come repair your lines in the freezing weather.

3. Make sure your crawlspace is closed up, if you have automatic vents and they aren’t closing all the way find a way to cut some cardboard or something to block the wind from entering your crawlspace.

4. If you have a single handle faucet at your sink point it straight up just slightly where the hot and cold will both flow. If you have a single handle shower handle just let a stream run on cold but make sure to run the hot on the vanity sink!!

5. Disconnect all hoses from any spiggot outside. They will freeze whether they are frost proof or not! Cover the hydrants with whatever you have!!

If y’all have any questions don’t hesitate to call, I will say if the roads are iced over I will not be able to get my van on the road. It’s big, it’s heavy, and it will be very hard to stop if needed. Thank y’all so much stay warm, stay safe, and do doughnuts!

Bam!! That’s how it’s done, this customer had a son that drop kicked the tub spout and broke it off inside the shower wall, we came in made a hole and got the old pieces out and installed a brass ni**le. It’s nearly indestructible at this point. If he tries it again they will be visiting a ER because it doesn’t have any give now. We was able to atatch the sheet rock back so it didn’t leave a big hole. Give us a call and we will try to keep it neat for you also!!
