We’ve been working on something a little different in the shop recently.

This is an arsenic removal system we’re fabricating for a current customer’s well field project. A lot of the work we do happens out in the field, but projects like this also require a good amount of planning, layout, stainless piping, welding, assembly, and coordination before the system ever makes it to the jobsite.

Arsenic is one of those things most people don’t think about when they turn on the tap, but it can naturally occur in groundwater. When it’s present above safe drinking water limits, it has to be removed before that water can be used. Systems like this help treat well water so it can meet the required standards and be safe for the people who rely on it.

We’re proud of our crew for the work going into this one. From stainless steel fabrication and welding to putting together the process piping and equipment, there are a lot of details that have to come together correctly.

This project is a good example of what we enjoy most: taking a real need for a customer, understanding the treatment process, and building the pieces that help make the system work.

Another milestone in the field — foundation pour complete for this new water tower project.

Precision layout, solid prep work, and a quality concrete placement set the stage for a structure built to serve the community for decades to come. Proud of the team putting in the work safely and efficiently every step of the way.

Bringing new life to critical infrastructure.

This WWTP clarifier rehab included structural rehabilitation, upgraded drive and control components, fresh protective coatings, and improved reliability for long-term performance. Projects like this help keep treatment systems operating efficiently while extending the life of existing assets.

Proud of the crew’s craftsmanship and commitment to quality from start to finish.

Out with the old.

Clarifier components at this wastewater treatment plant have reached the end of their service life. Our crew is safely removing and preparing for replacement to get this system back to peak performance.

Tying a new water line into an existing ground storage tank as part of an ongoing rehab project.

This work involves cutting into existing infrastructure, setting new piping and valves, and making sure everything lines up and seals correctly before backfilling. A lot of coordination goes into these tie-ins to keep disruptions minimal and ensure the system is ready to go back into service.

Details like proper pipe alignment, restraint, and compaction all play a role in long-term performance—especially on connections like this.

Another step toward getting this system updated and back to reliable operation.

Working down in a lift station this week getting things cleaned up and put back together.

Not the easiest conditions—tight space, wet environment, and heavy components—but this is the kind of work that keeps systems running when it matters most. Our crew is working through valve replacements and system cleanup to get this station back online quickly and avoid backups or service interruptions.

A lot of this work happens out of sight, but it plays a big role in keeping wastewater moving where it needs to go.

"Working through inspection and upgrades on a chlorine disinfection system.

Chlorine gas is commonly used in water and wastewater treatment to disinfect and eliminate harmful pathogens before water is discharged or delivered for use. Because of its effectiveness—and the risks that come with it—having reliable equipment and proper monitoring in place is critical.

We’re evaluating gas detection, feed equipment, and control components to make sure the system is operating safely and accurately. Consistent, precise chemical dosing plays a big role in maintaining water quality and meeting regulatory requirements.

Good systems aren’t just about getting chemicals into the process—they’re about doing it safely, consistently, and with the right level of control.

Starting the inspection and rehabilitation process on this wastewater treatment plant clarifier.

Our crew performs cleaning, assesses structural and mechanical components, and documents existing conditions to build a clear scope for repairs. These clarifiers are critical to plant performance, and many have seen decades of continuous service—so understanding what’s really going on beneath the surface matters.

We take a practical approach to this work—focus on what needs to be fixed, what can be preserved, and how to extend the life of the equipment without overcomplicating it.

More to come as we move through the rehab process.
