Jeremy Shaw and the Alabama Dock and Construction crew has this double-slip dock coming together beautifully.
For this project, our customer wanted a more modern, custom roof design to complement the stunning architecture of their lake home.

The extended 8x8 posts create the perfect support for the massive custom roof which features nearly 3 feet of overhang on all sides, giving the structure a bold and impressive appearance while adding both style and functionality.

This dock is quickly becoming an another standout feature of the property and we can’t wait to show you the finished product.

In just 7 days, the Alabama Dock and Construction crew has taken this project from driving poles in the lakebed to having nearly the entire lower level of the dock completed.
Tomorrow, we begin standing the 8x8 uprights that will support the roof structure.
To complement the style and aesthetic of this beautiful custom lake home, we’re going with a modern roof design on this double-slip dock.
This one is really starting to come together so stay tuned for the finished product!

The crew at Alabama Dock and Construction has this custom double-slip dock with upper deck ready for the next phase installation of the aluminum decking. For our upper decks, we use Wahoo AridDek, a premium waterproof decking system built for durability and functionality.

AridDek’s aluminum deck boards lock together with a tongue-and-groove design that directs water off the surface while channeling any water that passes between the boards into an integrated gutter system. The result is a strong, low-maintenance upper deck that also creates a completely dry area on the lower deck to keep boats dry.

This project is coming together nicely so stay tuned for the finished results!

The Alabama Dock Crew is making quick progress on this double-slip dock with an upper deck.
With the 8x8 supports now installed and the upper deck framing in place, the next step is adding the aluminum decking to bring it all together.

Progress is rolling on this lake project!

Jeremy Shaw and the Alabama Dock and Construction crew have the lower level of this double slip dock nearly complete.
Next up, we’ll be installing the dock edging and protective corners around the perimeter before setting the 8x8 support posts for the upper deck.
This one is really starting to come together and it’s going to be an incredible finished product.

Jeremy Shaw and the Alabama Dock and Construction crew is giving this existing dock a make over. A portion of it was repaired several years ago, but the outside of the slips required some repairs and the owners wanted to add a gable roof with a boat lift. Stay tuned to check out the finished project.

We removed 2 existing piers and completed the entire construction of this single slip dock all within 3 weeks. This boat dock in Country Club Estates is almost wrapped up. Once the crew finishes the roofing and mounts the boat lift, we are on to the next one.
