BKJ joined with Tallahassee State College to retrofit a portion of the school’s existing library to house a better use of today’s technology capabilities. A library is not just a place for books; it is intended to be a hub for all resources. TSC emphasized the importance of supplying the essential resources for their students by creating a space that reflects that idea. The Innovation Hub features an array of vocational areas dedicated to cloud computing, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), computer programming, business, and engineering technology that includes special rooms for 3D printing and semiconductor development as well, all of which are centrally located around the Collaboration Zone. https://bkjarchitecture.com/projects/tallahassee-state-college-innovation-hub

BKJ is electrifying the future of Tallahassee, leading the city’s bold movement toward a cleaner, greener tomorrow. Located steps from Cascades Park, this groundbreaking EV charging station is the first of many set to energize the city. It proudly debuts Tallahassee’s first level 3 fast charging option—delivering a powerful charge to vehicles in as little as 20 minutes.

BKJ Architecture is grateful for the opportunity to redesign TCC’s Student Union, the heart of its campus. What a great day to take a moment and celebrate this achievement with Mad Dog Construction and the Tallahassee Community College community. The album in the last photo shows a glimpse of the original building at its ribbon cutting in 1997! A lot sure has changed since then.
