Thinking about converting that old tub into a beautiful walk-in shower? Let us walk you through what really goes into a full tub-to-shower remodel.

It's not just "rip out the tub and slap in a shower pan" – there's a whole process that ensures your new shower will look amazing and last for decades.

Here's what actually happens behind the scenes:

The demolition has to be done carefully to avoid damaging your plumbing or structure. Then comes inspecting what's behind those walls – sometimes we find surprises that need addressing.

The plumbing gets reconfigured for your new shower setup, and if there's any water damage or mold, that gets remediated properly.

Next, we rebuild the shower pan or base with proper slope and waterproofing – this is critical and can't be rushed. The walls get waterproofed with membranes that create a watertight envelope.

Then comes the tile work or wall panels, installed with precision so everything lines up perfectly.

Finally, all the fixtures, doors, and trim get installed.
Is it meticulous? Absolutely.

Is the end result worth it? 100%
A properly done tub-to-shower conversion doesn't just look beautiful – it's safer, more accessible, easier to clean, and adds real value to your home.

Going through these photos has honestly been incredible — seeing the transformations, remembering the conversations, watching spaces go from "meh" to "WOW."
