If you lost trees last year during our Hurricane double-whammy by Helene and Milton, consider these free tree programs for your area! Our dense urban canopy is one of the things that makes Tampa very special, among environmental benefits like habitat/food for wildlife and SHADE for our City in the summer months!

When Hurricanes Helene and Milton hit the greater Tampa Bay region last year, they took down a large number of trees.

But upcoming giveaways by Pinellas County, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Tampa might help to replenish these numbers.

If you know us, you know we have big soft hearts. We kept these signs from our garden shop
, but we never thought we'd need them to secure our little 100 year old home near downtown Tampa from a monster storm. Bittersweet, for sure. 💕

Thank you *so much* for your messages of concern this week as we prepared for Hurricane Milton. PLEASE don't hesitate to reach out if you need help... even if we cannot get to you, we have resources and colleagues across Hillsborough County with which we can connect. And chainsaws. Lots of chainsaws.
