I read a great quote yesterday about confidence and comfort. Also, it has profound relevance to custom home building.
Alan Shepard was the first American to fly in space. Asked what he'd been thinking about while awaiting liftoff, Shepard replied, "The fact that every part of this ship was built by the lowest bidder."

Marc Anthony Builders is continuously referring to details of construction. Here's a photo of a composite wood deck that was part of a custom home we built. Notice the perfect spacing of the screws and the mitered joints. Each joint was staggered, mitered, glued & screwed. Each floor joist was crowned before placement to allow for a consistent and level surface. Also, note that each plank terminates into a nice band board surrounding the deck. There is a right way to do things and there are short cuts. Here is an example of how the details of construction are a sure indication of quality construction.
