We know it still feels like summer, but believe it or not, you should start planning for our Florida winter.

Did you know that when you do need heat, it can take 2-3x more energy than it takes to cool your home? Make sure your electrical system is prepared for this and other items like holiday lights and longer run times for landscape lights and security lighting as it gets dark earlier.

Holiday lights bring joy, but prepping your electrical system makes decorating a lot smoother. Before Halloween and Christmas displays go up, we recommend checking exterior outlets, making sure your circuits can handle extra lights, and adding surge protection.

A quick check now means less hassle and less risk once the lights go on. Safe, ready outlets and the right circuit setup help prevent tripped breakers and other surprises.

Planning to light things up this season? Reach out to schedule an electrical checkup.

Are you decorating for spooky season? If so, it's time to prep for your outdoor lighting. At this time of year in Florida you also must be aware of rainy weather and soggy outdoor areas. And if your Halloween display starts tripping breakers or causing electrical problems, don’t ignore it. That's something that may need your attention.
