Looking to make an impact and help students start the school year strong? WTS Savannah Chapter has a great opportunity to help students get a head start with the supplies they need for a successful school year!

Join the WTS Savannah Chapter as we come together to help local children start the school year prepared and confident!

The School Supply Drive will benefit SAFE Shelter of Savannah (Center for Domestic Violence Services), supporting 30 children in grades K–12.

WTS Savannah Chapter will provide all 30 backpacks, and we are asking members, non-members, friends, and community partners to help us **FILL** them with much-needed school supplies!

✏️📓🖍️ Donations of school supplies for all age groups (K–12) are greatly appreciated. Please refer to the supply list for supply needs.

💵 Want to support but don't have time to shop?
Monetary donations are a great way to help! Every dollar donated will go directly toward purchasing school supplies for local children in need. Simply VENMO your donation to -Savannah by 12:00 PM (Noon) on Thursday, June 25, 2026, and we'll do the shopping for you to help ensure every backpack is filled with the supplies students need for a successful school year.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference and help these students begin the school year in the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools System with the tools they need to succeed. Every donation, big or small, helps!

This week the Prince team participated in the Florida Department of Transportation “Road to Your Future” Hiring Event in Deerfield Beach, where we had the opportunity to connect with talented job seekers and share the many rewarding career paths available at Prince.

Events like these are invaluable for introducing future industry professionals to exciting opportunities within transportation construction and infrastructure development. We enjoyed meeting potential candidates, discussing our projects, and highlighting how Prince is helping build stronger communities throughout Florida.

We were also happy to work alongside OHLA USA, our joint venture partner on the SW 10th Project, as we engaged with attendees and showcased the collaborative efforts that make major infrastructure projects successful.

Thank you to FDOT for hosting this outstanding event and to everyone who stopped by to learn more about careers with Prince. We look forward to continuing to invest in the future workforce of our industry.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Many Prince team members are veterans or come from military families. Today, we pause alongside them to honor those who did not return home. To all who have served — thank you.

On the I-275 St. Petersburg project in St. Petersburg, FL, Prince is proud to partner with the Florida Department of Transportation and the University of South Florida to create real-world opportunities for local PhD researchers. These students aren’t just studying infrastructure; they’re actively contributing to it.

Working alongside our team in the field, USF researchers are studying the down drag and settlement of concrete piles, helping generate valuable data that will support safer roadways across the state. Prince’s commitment to the future of the industry is reflected in partnerships like this, supporting the next generation of leaders and advancing the research that will shape infrastructure for years to come.

As we close out Safety Week, the Orlando Airport P1X project team came together for lunch and a reminder that we’re all working to keep each other safe. Jack Calandros, President of Prince, joined the festivities, spending time engaging with team members and reinforcing the importance of keeping safety at the center of everything we do. To wrap up the week, the team recommitted to this mission by signing a hard hat—a visible reminder of our dedication to Safety Above All.

Safety Week at our US 27 Everglades Canal project in South Bay, FL was a great opportunity to come together and reinforce our commitment to Safety Above All.

The crew marked the week with a team lunch, taking time to connect and recognize the importance of looking out for one another. Moments like these strengthen our culture and keep safety at the forefront of everything we do.

Our SunTrax project in Auburndale, FL, spent Safety Week reinforcing the belief that a strong safety culture is built through teamwork, training, and daily commitment. During the week, our crews participated in a hands-on fire extinguisher drill led by special guests from the Auburndale Fire Department, whom we thank for sharing their expertise and helping keep our team prepared. The team also gathered for a safety meeting breakfast, reinforcing best practices and open communication, and took part in a stretch and flex session to keep both body and mind ready for the job.

We love seeing our teams dedicated to making safety a priority every day on site!

In honor of Safety Week, our teams on the I-275 project in St. Petersburg. FL, and the I-75 Fruitville project in Sarasota, FL, both participated in fall protection presentations led by Safety Products, Inc.. These sessions highlighted critical differences in fall protection systems, including how Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRLs) can significantly reduce fall distance and arrest forces compared to traditional 6’ bungee lanyards, helping minimize risk when working at height.

Hands-on trainings like these keep our crews informed, prepared, and protected where it matters most.

Safety Week continues at the US98 projects in Dade City, FL. Our teams put preparedness into action with a spill response emergency drill coordinated by our Safety Supervisor and Project Manager. These hands-on exercises ensure we’re ready to respond quickly, safely, and effectively in any situation.

We also took time to celebrate excellence by recognizing our 1st Quarter Safety Award winners – congratulations to the earthwork crew led by Michael S., and surveyor Cameron Y., for their dedication to maintaining a safe job site and setting the standard for others.
