I don’t show my face on here very often because I’m a little shy about it—which is silly, but it is what it is! So I thought I’d say hello and introduce myself.

I’m Anna, a ceramic artist and teacher living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I make wheel-thrown, hand-painted pottery inspired by the plants and animals around me. Lots of flowers, rabbits, snakes, and whatever else I’m excited about at the moment.

I’ve been teaching art since 2013, and sharing clay with other people is a big part of what I love about this life. I run Clay Club of Santa Fe and also teach art history online at Northern New Mexico College. My days are a mix of making, painting, and teaching.

Outside the studio, I love being outdoors, running trails, and spending time with my two little dogs, George and Margie.

Thanks for being here and supporting this little business of mine. It means so much that the things I make get to become part of your everyday lives. 🤍

Thank you so much to everyone who purchased something from my shop update! It means so much that the pieces I make get to become part of your homes and everyday rituals. ❤️

With a freeze coming to Santa Fe, I’m holding onto these flowers and mourning the end of my favorite season a little. But I’m also looking forward to long, quiet days in the studio, with time to follow a few big ideas I’ve been dreaming about. A few are already taking shape, and I’m so excited to share more soon.

Thank you for helping make all of this possible.

A pony, a snake, and a jackrabbit, all dressed up in flowers. 🌼 Three hand-painted mugs headed to my online shop this Sunday, October 11, at 6 p.m. Mountain Time!

Which one’s your favorite?

A hummingbird buzzed these mugs while I was photographing, so I think that counts as a glowing review. 🐦✨

My first online shop update since May is coming in a week-ish! It’s been a wild summer, and I’m so excited to share some really special pieces with you. I’ll take photos of the work this week and announce the date soon.

For now, here’s a cutie berry basket filled with tomatoes I grew myself. My best tomato year yet! 🍅❤️

I’ve had such a busy summer filled with all the best things. I’m still making, just not taking as many pictures! I’m trying to do better about sharing what’s coming out of the studio. Thanks for all the love! 🫶🏼
