Carpenter, LLC has commenced work at the Budlong Pool project in Cranston, Rhode Island, where we were awarded the trellis scope at the shower area following our 2024 bid.

As some of you may already know the project experienced extended delays due to unforeseen site conditions, including the discovery of an undocumented groundwater/aqueduct system, along with complications involving existing drainage infrastructure. These conditions required additional engineering, coordination, and adjustments to the overall project schedule before construction could proceed again.

As is often the case in construction, timing does not always align perfectly, and this project resumed after a prolonged delay while other commitments were already underway. Our team has since mobilized and working in coordination with our good friends at Vantage Builders to see this one thru, follow us as progress continues on site.

Another project pushing through one of the toughest winters we’ve seen. After nearly two months at a standstill, we’re now closing in on substantial completion at our Webster St. Marshfield Housing Authority project.

This project involved a full exterior envelope renovation, along with a complete design change mid-construction on the exterior rainscreen system and extensive coordination on the administrative side. Despite the delays and challenges, progress never stopped behind the scenes, and it shows in the final product.

Proud of the team and trade partners for navigating the conditions, adapting to changes, and bringing this one across the finish line.

After a long and challenging winter, we’re proud to officially complete this ADA accessible ramp project for the Duxbury Housing Authority.

Cold weather, scheduling constraints, and site conditions made this one a grind, but seeing it come together and knowing it provides safe, reliable access makes it well worth the effort.

This project features a fully compliant access system with clean transitions, durable decking, and custom-fabricated ADA handrails that really tie everything together.

We are proud to announce that Carpenter, LLC has officially been approved by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) sponsor.

This milestone represents a significant step forward for our company and our long-term commitment to the construction industry. Through this program, we are now able to formally train and develop the next generation of skilled tradesmen under a structured, state-recognized framework.

At Carpenter, LLC, we believe that quality craftsmanship begins with proper training, mentorship, and accountability. Our apprenticeship program will provide individuals entering the trades with a clear path for growth, combining hands on field experience with guided instruction and measurable progression. Apprentices will have the opportunity to earn while they learn, gaining valuable, real-world skills that will support long term careers in construction.

Carpenter, LLC has been awarded the framing and building envelope package for the new Operations Facility at C**t State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island, in collaboration with Tower Construction as General Contractor.

This new ground-up facility, owned by the State of Rhode Island, will serve as a central operations hub for park administration, ranger functions, maintenance, storage, and vehicle garage space. The project includes approximately 12,000 SF of office, workshop, and support areas alongside integrated garage and storage components designed to support long-term park operations.

The building is being constructed as a new Type VB structure with a full thermal envelope designed to exceed current energy code requirements, incorporating high-performance wall assemblies, roof systems, and insulation to support long-term durability and efficiency in a coastal environment.

Our team will lead the structural framing scope and exterior envelope installation, coordinating closely with Tower Construction and the design team to maintain schedule, sequencing, and quality throughout the build.

This is a meaningful public project for the State of Rhode Island and the surrounding community, and we’re proud to be part of the construction effort. Follow along as progress unfolds through late 2026 and into the new year 2027.

Proud to wrap up another major project in partnership with Vantage Builders for Melmark New England.

Carpenter, LLC performed as the framing subcontractor across the entire development, delivering the full structural framing package for five residential buildings and one large main facility — all completed within a 180-day construction window.

The project included five new residential homes, each built with a footprint of approximately 3,835 SF, designed to support full-time care environments with accessible layouts, kitchens, bathrooms, and multipurpose spaces. 

In addition, the main building — a large mixed-use adult day center and support facility — was constructed with a footprint of roughly 14,473 SF and over 19,000 SF of total building area following renovation and expansion. 

Our scope covered structural layout, framing ex*****on, and coordination across multiple buildings simultaneously while maintaining schedule and quality standards.

Projects like this only succeed through strong collaboration. Vantage Builders led as General Contractor, and Melmark New England’s mission made it clear how important it was to deliver these buildings safely, accurately, and on schedule.
