Carpenter, LLC will officially mobilize at the new Facility Operations Building at C**t State Park on September 14th boots on the ground.

This approximately 12,000 square-foot, Type V-B facility is being constructed for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. Once complete, it will consolidate several essential park operations under one roof, including administrative offices, environmental police and ranger facilities, workshops, vehicle bays, and both conditioned and unconditioned equipment storage areas.

Our comprehensive scope includes exterior wood wall framing; architectural metal and heavy timber elements; traditional dimensional lumber truss systems; and the complete air and v***r barrier and exterior siding assemblies.

With multiple rooflines, dormers, transitions, and adjoining operational areas, this project will demand precise layout, careful sequencing, and close coordination across the structural and building envelope systems

🚧 Swansea Administration Building & Addition Project Update

Framing at the Annex Building is now substantially complete, and our crew is making its way into Phase 2 with the new connector addition. This portion will tie the Annex into the new Administration Building and bring the separate areas together as one cohesive facility.

With the framing advancing, the project is also opening up for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades to continue their rough-in work. Strong progress from everyone involved as we move into the next stage of construction.

Progress continues at the Maple Gardens Housing Development in Fall River!

The new Learning Center, Community Room, Laundry and Family Self-Sufficiency Building is quickly taking shape. With the foundation and slab complete, our crew has made major progress on the exterior and interior wall framing, and building layout.

We anticipate swinging the roof trusses early next week and are on track to wrap up our framing scope within an aggressive four-week window.

Great work by the entire crew keeping this project moving safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Carpenter, LLC has commenced work at the Budlong Pool project in Cranston, Rhode Island, where we were awarded the trellis scope at the shower area following our 2024 bid.

As some of you may already know the project experienced extended delays due to unforeseen site conditions, including the discovery of an undocumented groundwater/aqueduct system, along with complications involving existing drainage infrastructure. These conditions required additional engineering, coordination, and adjustments to the overall project schedule before construction could proceed again.

As is often the case in construction, timing does not always align perfectly, and this project resumed after a prolonged delay while other commitments were already underway. Our team has since mobilized and working in coordination with our good friends at Vantage Builders to see this one thru, follow us as progress continues on site.

Another project pushing through one of the toughest winters we’ve seen. After nearly two months at a standstill, we’re now closing in on substantial completion at our Webster St. Marshfield Housing Authority project.

This project involved a full exterior envelope renovation, along with a complete design change mid-construction on the exterior rainscreen system and extensive coordination on the administrative side. Despite the delays and challenges, progress never stopped behind the scenes, and it shows in the final product.

Proud of the team and trade partners for navigating the conditions, adapting to changes, and bringing this one across the finish line.
