🐾 Pet of the Month for May 🐾 We love a good rescue story! While on vacation in South Carolina, our Logistics Manager, Kevin Lee & his family found Duke, wearing an “Adopt Me” harness on. After a test walk with Duke & Kevin’s children, they knew this little guy would be a perfect fit for their family. Duke, a 5 year old mixed breed hopped in the car to head back to his new home with the Lee’s. 🦴 You’re a real good boy, Duke!

🐾 Pet of the Month for April 🐾 We have a very special girl to post this month! Meet Quincy, a 90lb mixed breed rescue. Quincy belongs to our newest team member, Chris Bach and his family.
Chris is the location Manager running our team of talented at . Chris’ hard work & dedication ensures all the students and staff are riding our elevators safely. That’s just one of the many reasons why we are so lucky to have him at Metro New England.

🐾 Pet Of The Month 🐾 💘 February 💘 This month we have a special guest star! HARLEY! This sweet girl is a 13 year old, 1/2 French, 1/2 English bull dog. She belongs to our Elevated Technologies Superintendent, Adam, who’s currently running one of our projects over at the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA. Thank you for sharing this gem, Adam! ❤️ Harley, you’re a real good girl! 🦴 💌

Phew!! 😅 Metro’s been busy! Let’s get back to it! As part of our series, “Elevator parts” ,in our , check out this very important piece of machinery…An ELEVATOR GOVERNOR is a critical speed-monitoring safety device, usually located in the machine room or hoistway, that triggers car safety brakes if the elevator exceeds its rated speed. Key components include the governor rope, sheave, centrifugal mechanism, and safety trip mechanism, which work together to engage safety jaws on the guide rails. 📸 Dazentech.com elevatortech

🐾 Pet of the Month 🐾 DECEMBER 🎄 We have a very special boy to feature this month, meet Woodrow! Woodrow will be 5 tomorrow, Christmas Day!! His Dad is one of our extremely talented Mechanics, Dave Lane. Dave says Woodrow loves playing fetch, specifically with tennis balls…which are not allowed in the house anymore! 😬 He loves car rides & gets to see his little brother all the time since he’s also a Metro pet! It’s a real family affair here at Metro New England!! Meet John Petty, Vice President of Operations for Metro Elevator New England! John brings nearly 30 years of experience in the elevator industry to his role as
Vice President of Operations at Metro Elevator New England. A Massachusetts State
Licensed Mechanic and NEIEP Certified, John built his career on a foundation of
excellence and integrity, believing that financial success naturally follows from doing the
job right.
John discovered the elevator trade through a friend while transitioning out of the military,
beginning a career that would span decades and countless challenging projects. He is known for his clear and honest communication, helping colleagues and clients feel
confident and informed every step of the way.
Outside of work, John enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, whether hiking,
backpacking, or camping—always embracing new adventures in nature. John leads with integrity, clear communication, and a dedication to doing the job right the first time. His commitment to excellence inspires confidence in both our team and our customers.
